A while back I talked with a man that has lived the last thirty years in a wheel chair. His legs do not hold him, he has no money, and multiple other health concerns keep him from living what most would call a normal life. But, if I had not known all this, I would not of guessed he struggled every day. In spite of all the ailments, he is a man that Praises the Lord. He has set his feet firmly on Christ and is able to rejoice in spite of his circumstances.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
